The Cardinal Santos Medical Center CWCU is designed as a one-stop hub for various out-patient procedures and services especially catered to women. The unit provides women the necessary care needed to maintain good health and fitness.

Mammography: Monday – Saturday 8:00AM – 5:00PM (CWCU)

Sunday 7:00AM – 12:00PM

OB-GYN ultrasound imaging services are being offered at the CWCU both for pregnant and non-pregnant women:

Colposcopy Examinations

The CWCU offers patients colposcopy examination. Colposcopy is the examination of the cervix, vagina and external genitalia under illumination and magnification. Its purpose is to confirm the presence or absence of precancerous diseases and of very early stage malignancies, both of which have high chances for cure.

Colposcopy is done on Patients with:

- Abdominal Pap Smear
- Positive HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) DNA Test
- Genital Warts
- Suspicious Lesions on the Cervix/ Vagina/ Vulva
- Mammography and Breast Examinations
- Mammography Functions as a screening tool for early detection of breast cancer as it can show changes in the breast even before a physical symptoms are felt.
